4iiii have been in the power meter game for many years now and earlier this year (2022) they released their third generation of their PRECISION cycling power meter. What should have built on a relatively strong offering of the PRECISION 2 has been a rocky ride to date. Thanks for the detailed testing on this. Have you had any experience with updated firmware releases for the Precision 3? I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t want to go near it again!
I’ve had a new beta firmware on this meter for the last week or so. Performance is MUCH better. I’ll wait for it to be a pubic release before wrapping up any new data/conclusions on it.
Got an email from 4iiii last night to say firmware 1.2.0 was available to download. I just updated it now. Just sharing the good news!

I’ve re-tested the latest beta with much improved results. I believe this is yet to be pushed to the public release.
