4iiii have been in the power meter game for many years now and earlier this year (2022) they released their third generation of their PRECISION cycling power meter. What should have built on a relatively strong offering of the PRECISION 2 has been a rocky ride to date. This video covers the details of the PRECISION 3, my extensive testing, and my take on where things are at with this power meter.

Thanks for the detailed testing on this. Have you had any experience with updated firmware releases for the Precision 3? I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t want to go near it again!
I’ve had a new beta firmware on this meter for the last week or so. Performance is MUCH better. I’ll wait for it to be a pubic release before wrapping up any new data/conclusions on it.
Hi GPLama! Thanks for having tested the power meter last June! I was wondering whether the beta version was already publicly released? Did the performance improve? Thank you!
I’ve re-tested the latest beta with much improved results. I believe this is yet to be pushed to the public release.
