LEZYNE Radar Drive – Cycling Radar Review

Lezyne’s Radar Drive is a rare non-Garmin cycling radar that actually works, very closely matching the Varia RTL515 in detection accuracy and reliability. It offers solid radar performance, strong battery life, USB-C charging, and useful integration with Lezyne’s REACT Drive front light and RADAR Ally app for alerts. Testing showed no false positives and accurate detection timing, making it a solid option when looking for a bike radar.

  1. Big disavantage is missing adapter/mount. I would not switch eventhough this Lezyne radar is quite impresive when it comes to Light up in the Dark.

  2. Bought this based on your review. Battery life is now less than 3 hours in day flash mode from full (supposed to be 18 hpurs) after short ownership. I have reached out to Lezyne as mine is obviously a dud.

  3. Saw the review and bought the light/radar unit. An excellent decision and upgrade from my Garmin RVR315 especially the USB C plug and the realy bright light. Also neat how it works with Garmin light network so it turns on when I star my ride. Waiting now for the front light to arrive from overseas. Its a shame in NZ they only import the rear light not the front
