    • I’ve had trouble trying to communicate with iGPSport in regard to firmware updates, etc. They seem to release updates randomly without warning that I have to keep up with. It’s also a pain trying to record/capture a GPS that doesn’t have screen recording. The device does the basics OK. There are some major issues with it though.

      • Hey there,
I was hoping that the IGPSport iGS800 would be a alternative choice to the Garmin 1040. I could save approximately 30-35% on the purchase. I don’t need screen recording, although that feature is cool. I would like it to do what the Garmin does though. I like the iGS physical buttons and screen. I heard that it will also work with the Insta360 X4 for overlay stats. So what do you think, is it a no-go and I should just stick with Garmin, specifically the 1040? Thanks!
