I’ve always been a fan of the Evade aero road helmets since they launched back in 2013, and I typically upgrade as each new revision is released. The Evade III was the exception. It was too expensive here at launch (recently dropping in price!) and Specialized quietly changed up a few other things that I cover in this video.   1. The Evade III fits my “long-oval” head better than any other helmet I’ve owned. Other than that, it’s just an overly expensive helmet in my opinion.

  2. i find the 3 fit to be not quite as good as the 1 & 2 but i don’t believe its anything to do with the shell size, seems to be something slightly different with the rear retention system – the new one just doesn’t feel quite right
