Power Meter Pedals: Which Cleats to Use // Why Look KEO “Compatible” sometimes isn’t.

When it comes to pedals, Look Keo “Compatible” isn’t an exact standard you can rely on for compatibility across all pedals and cleat, even when they claim to be “Look Keo Compatible”. Bike fitters know this all too well already. It’s a common question that comes up on forums when people are experiencing issues with their Look Keo “Compatible” power meter pedals.

  1. In watching this video I wonder whether the after market cleats would be compatable with the original look keo pedals. I have Assioma pedals on one bike and have another bike on the trainer (which I dont need power on due to the trainer readings). I have a spare pair of original look keo pedals I was going to use but wasnt sure if these would be compatable with the Wellgo cleats that ship with the Assioma pedals. Would I be better of sourcing some original look cleats as these seem to be compatable with my power pedals also. Cheers for the information, greatly appreciated.
