  1. Just wondering when the Elite Direto XR is likely to be available in Australia? What is the likely cost?

    1. As per the notes here and on my YouTube video: Flywheel size/weight: 5.1kg (*Updated details from Elite post video publication!).

They gave the wrong information initially.

  2. 2 – If you’re pairing over ANT+ for speed/distance: Use 173mm for wheel size!
What does this mean. I have diretto and compared to my power meter, my power meter on my edge 530 reads 20W less then the diretto in zwift (paried via bluetooth over phone as controllable and power/speed/cadennce). In the app settings the Circumference is 2070, should i change this to 173 if im using zwift?

    1. If you’re tracking speed/distance from the Direto on a Garmin GPS/watch the sensor wheel size needs to be 173. If you’re using Zwift this is not applicable. This also doesn’t apply to the Elite MyETraining app.

  3. Hi Shane. In the Elite app, the wheel circumference is specified as 2070. Yet a 700×23 or 700×25 circumference is 2095 or 2105 respectively.

Is the setting in the app wrong? A number of people have posed the question to Elite but no simple answer is provided.

Can you shed any light on it? Thanks

    1. Wheel size is a strange one for Elite trainers. Within their own app it’s 2070 (for reasons unknown….), for external GPS units/etc it’s 173 (or 47, or 83 on other units). This should have zero impact on the operation of the trainer, only the ‘virtual’ speed and distance it’ll broadcast.

  4. Since a week or so I am the owner of the Elite Direto XR, after watching your review, and simply love it!
But my stages left PM is reading like 30 watts lower than the Direto XR.
Do you have any thoughts on this? Which one will be the right one?
