After purchasing the retail version of the LOOK X-Track SPD Power Meter and performing hours of comprehensive comparative analysis, I was surprised of both the results and the follow-up customer service for this AU$2,000 power meter. In this video I cover the technical specifications, my extensive testing, and the ongoing issues I’ve had in trying to communicate the problems I’ve had with the LOOK company.

Hi Shane,
I did have 2 pairs of the Road version. first one failed twice and got replaced by the LBS and yet wasn’t sure about the data I was getting.
second pair, I started testing against my 2 other PM (Quarq DZero and Giant Shimano crank Dual PM).
I don’t have the DC rainmaker tool but used Training peak to compare the best “X” minutes of both on the same ride.
I had a consistent under reading from the Look (-4 to -10% on the giant)
and consistent under reading from the look (- 6% vs the Quarq).
I am also very disappointed with the product since I believe they finally cracked the solution…. huge disappointment.
